Do you know someone or perhaps you are that person who continually talks about what they are going to do and going to achieve?
According to William Bridges; “Change comes more from managing the journey than from announcing the destination.”
Announcing where you want to go can be an important part of achieving your goals, but it really is what we do each day that will help us reach that ultimate destination.
There are many “talkers” who have no hesitation telling people if you “do this or believe this”, then your life will work out in the future. There is only one person that can decide what you want to believe and that is YOU. Do not fall into the trap of becoming reliant on groups that tell you what you must or mustn’t do in order to have a better life in “the future.” Make that better life for yourself now, by making the changes to your everyday life. Those small steps that help you manage your journey, and lead a fulfilling life every day.
What are those steps? This is different for everyone. What works for me, may not work for you. However, I will discuss some of these points on a later post. Take this information, and decide which ones feel right for you. If you keep doing what you have always done, you will keep getting what you have always got. I am not saying stay away from organised groups, but keep your mind open to what they are trying to achieve with you becoming involved. Is it for your benefit or theirs? Enjoy your journey each day, and have your reward every day, and make those changes by doing, not talking!
Sure am 🙂
