I was amazed at the beautiful moon last night. I went outside to pick some oranges off our tree (something I had run out of time to do earlier in the day) and ended up spending time just looking up the sky.
I even forgot how cold it was while I was standing there. It was just so peaceful and relaxing. I had an extremely busy day, and was still in that rush rush mode until I ventured outside.
Stopping for a few moments to appreciate the beauty of my surroundings, it made me think about all the wonderful events and things and people I am surrounded by every day which I sometimes take for granted.
Comments from people I have asked this question to range from being grateful for family members, spouses, friends, neighbors, work, health…… the list was endless. However when asked if you have told these people that you appreciate them, most times the answer is no, or I don’t have to tell them they know. But do they?
Who is someone or something that you appreciate and in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you take for granted? Give yourself a few minutes today to experience that absolute pleasure of thanking that person for being in your life.
Thanks for a great blog. I also saw the moon the other night and it was beautiful. After reading your post, I spent a few minutes in appreciation, and did end up thanking a friend for being there for me.
Truly awesome. It is obvious you know your topic and you seem passionate about it. I have discovered much at this website and also I look forward to a great deal more articles and will be coming back soon. Thanks.

Yes I took things for granted. I expected my parents to always be there for me but one day they weren’t. I wish I had told them how much I appreciated all they did for me when they were alive.Never waste an opportunity to let someone know you care.
